Faith Nicole a native of Chicago, Illinois, spent her formative years navigating the challenges of growing up in the Cabrini Green Project Housing. Later, her family transitioned to Chicago's West Side, and after several years, they settled in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side. Despite confronting violence and enduring an abusive childhood, Faith Nicole exhibited unwavering perseverance. Her life's journey, however, was not without formidable obstacles, prompting her to make the difficult decision to discontinue her high school education. Motivated by a profound desire to set a positive example for her child, she later embarked on a determined path of self-improvement. This journey culminated in her successful pursuit of education, ultimately obtaining her General Educational Development (GED). Faith Nicole's journey continued at the Washburne Culinary and Hospitality Institute, where she earned a degree in culinary arts. Her pursuit of education extended to Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana, where she obtained a degree in Human Services. In 2016, she founded "Purple Diamonds Inc," a nonprofit organization committed to educating and mentoring youth, offering hope, and providing essential supplies to impoverished communities in both Illinois and Indiana. Her passion for children led to the creation of "Kulinary Kidz" in 2018, a cooking class that integrates culinary arts and teaching to make learning enjoyable for children of all ages. Through this program, children develop essential skills in math, science, literacy, vocabulary, and art, while also enhancing motor skills and self-confidence. “Kulinary Kidz” promotes healthy eating, family bonding, and provides a safe and supportive environment for children and youth. Faith Nicole's remarkable journey encompasses not only her impactful work in education and mentoring but also a significant contribution to literature and filmmaking. As an accomplished author, she has written numerous novels and children's educational books. The genesis of her literary career in 2009 faced a setback when the chosen publishing company did not meet expectations, leading to a temporary hiatus from writing. Undeterred, Faith Nicole rebounded in 2019 with the establishment of her own publishing company, “Faith Nicole's Publication,” where she took control of her creative narrative. Currently boasting an impressive repertoire of over 20 books, Faith Nicole serves as the author, editor, and publisher of her meticulously crafted works. Furthermore, Faith Nicole has expanded her creative endeavors into filmmaking, producing three compelling short films referred to as "Truvies." She has transformed her past pain into a driving force for positive change, embodying the spirit of resilience and compassion.
